| Description: | The ‘Short Training Initiatives’ programme (STI) finances short-term training courses (min. 5 days and max. 2 weeks) involving a development-relevant topic that responds to specific needs of developing countries. The courses are intended for interested actors from developing countries who are prepared to make an active contribution to the development of their homeland. STI’s should be organised by a Flemish university or a Flemish non-university HE institution. Short Training Initiatives are designed for the training of young professionals from developing countries and for transferring acquired knowledge to developing countries. At the same time, they encourage contacts and networking. |
