| Description: | The McKnight Foundation Collaborative Crop Research Program (CCRP) announces a new Request for Pre-Proposals (RFP) focused on improving food security for people depending on millet and sorghum-based systems in West Africa. We will support collaborative projects involving research and development organizations working together with communities in Mali, Burkina Faso and/or Niger. This RFP continues and extends The McKnight Foundation’s commitment to funding crop improvement research and development partnerships directed at building capacity in the less developed countries to achieve food security. Representatives of each funded project will meet annually to exchange information and experiences and to build strong communication channels among participants and the communities in which the projects will work. |
