| Description: | Support for development research is provided through the Consultative Research Committee (FFU) and by support of research centres and knowledge networks in Denmark. The FFU provides support for both major research projects and individual research projects: 1. Major research programmes The purpose of the major research projects is to generate new, problem-oriented knowledge that is relevant to the needs of the developing countries. These must reinforce interdisciplinary research cooperation and innovative alliances between research environments, especially in the form of partnerships between Danish researchers and researchers from developing countries. 2. Individual research projects This covers PhD and Post-Doc studies as wells as individual projects by senior researchers. The incorporation of PhD scholarships into major research programmes will be favoured. 3. Research centres in Denmark |
