| Description: | The Panos Institute exists to stimulate debate on global environment and development issues. It is a non for profit organization. It does not advocate solutions but provides information, presenting different arguments and perspectives, to enable people to form their own opinions and find their own solutions. The Institute specialises in information for development, and stimulates public debate by providing accessible information on environmental and social development issues. The web site provides a choice of briefings (can be ordered by e-mail) concerning environment and development, AIDS, Women and Health, as well as links to other Panos offices around the world. |
