| Description: | With effect of 18th July 2007 the reorganization of the Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology was decided by the chairmanship of the University of Göttingen. The former institutes are now departments of the two institutes Büsgen-Institute and Burckhardt-Institute. The Institute of Forest Management (Institut für Waldinventur und Waldwachstum, IWW) was incorporated into the Burckhardt-Institute as Department Forest Inventory and Remote Sensing (Abteilung Waldinventur und Fernerkundung, AWF). |
