| Description: | Agroscope Reckenholz-Tänikon ART is one of three public agricultural research institutes, which are gathered under the name Agroscope. It belongs to the Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG). It conducts research into environmentally compatible and economically competitive farming. Its primary concern is for a highly diverse rural area. ART develops and assesses sustainable plant-production and animal-husbandry systems. It combines ecology, economics and agricultural engineering in a holistic approach to research. ART creates scientific knowledge and decision-making tools for agriculture, government authorities and society. |
